Liceu Albert Sabin, which belongs to the Barão de Mauá Educational Organization, has another unit in Ribeirão Preto. The new school is located in Vila do Golfe, on a 30,000-m² plot of land. The architect Eduardo Salata Orsi, from All Design, from Ribeirão Preto, signs the project. He says that the project emphasizes greenery and ecology, reusing rainwater for irrigation and to wash courtyards. This project uses natural light to the fullest extent possible, capturing daylight from both sides of the rooms, emphasizing to the students how important it is to save energy. The classrooms were designed to receive natural air currents, with cross exchange of ventilation, which substantially reduces the use of air conditioning and helps reduce climate effects.
